

Ála Plíhalová is a visual artist and illustrator from Liberec. Her work focuses primarily on ink drawings and monochrome, black-and-white paintings, in which she creates imaginary worlds filled with fantastical creatures, animals, and organic forms. Her works are characterized by a dense network of lines and details, inviting viewers to develop their own interpretations and discover hidden stories.
Her work draws inspiration from dreams, spontaneous imagination, and playful experimentation with forms. Ála Plíhalová studied art in Jablonec nad Nisou, Prague, Ústí nad Labem, and Brno. Today, she lives and works in Liberec, where she is also dedicated to teaching alongside her artistic practice.
