The Orff brothers give concerts only sporadically, but the interest of the audience is not waning. Even more than ten years after the release of Šero, which won the Anděl Award and the Apollo Music Critics' Award for the best album of 2013, the band is finding new listeners and its work continues to resonate across generations. And perhaps as early as 2026, new songs will be added to their song collection.
The Orff Brothers have been active since 2002. The band's name refers to the pioneers of Czechoslovak electronic music, the Orff brothers, and also to the so-called Orff musical instruments. The line-up has changed over the years; today it consists of singer and guitarist Ivan Gajdoš, guitarist Lukáš Novotný, trumpeter Libor Martiník, drummer Petr Odstrčil, bassist Břetislav Koláček and keyboardist and synthesizer player Zdeněk Henych. The release of Bingriwingri's debut album in 2005 was hailed by the media as an event in the domestic alternative scene. In 2023, Minority Records commemorated the band's two albums with remastered vinyl editions.
