Eibauer Bier- und Traditionszug is one of the most significant folk festivals in Upper Lusatia. Since 1993, the event has commemorated the historical events of March 25, 1693, when the people of Eibau moved to the neighboring village of Walddorf following disputes over brewing and pub rights between the towns of Görlitz, Löbau, and Zittau.
The highlight of the festival weekend is the historical parade from Walddorf to Eibau on June 28, 2026, featuring horse-drawn carriages, participants in historical costumes, brass music, and displays of regional traditions.
The festival is complemented by a varied program for the whole family.
