Schwarze Grütze Music Cabaret
Year after year, the two gentlemen of Schwarze Grütze serve up their very own special brand of black-humored musical punch. Completely devoid of Christmas kitsch and sweet sugary frosting, Stefan Klucke and Dirk Pursche do what they do best: they tell bitingly wicked and laugh-out-loud funny stories about the holiday.
The stage design features a house where the windows can be opened just like an advent calendar. And with every window that opens, a new bizarre situation is revealed, a new bitterly comical abyss.
It is impressive how all the threads of the stories weave together at the end; rarely has a mirror been held up to us so wittily during our mindless hunt for holiday spirit.
The show "Endstation Pfanne, was bleibt ist eine Gänsehaut" changes only slightly from year to year; the core remains the same. Nevertheless, fans flock to it in droves every December. And when the guests' children are touchingly singing along: "I shot a Santa Claus...", then you can certainly call it a cult classic.
