In the stories of individual castles, the exhibition will offer you a broader context, historical, architectural, military, heraldic, religious. At the same time, the exhibition will provide a geological and geographical, social or even political context. Because a castle is not only a building in the landscape, a castle is also a strategic foothold, an administrative centre, a dwelling and a refuge, it could even have been the seat of a religious community.
The exhibition presents the castle as a phenomenon, i.e. as a general category, which in the "Liberec" cases was concretely and tangibly manifested in a given place and time.
