Görlitz. The Lady, a famous Hollywood diva, has arrived for filming. It is not for nothing that Görlitz likes to call itself Görliwood: once again, a – still top secret, but very big – film production is on the cards. With the diva and Joaquin Phoenix… or is her partner this time actually just David Hasselhoff? It doesn't matter. Because something is not right here… Instead of in a heated suite in the best hotel in town or on a well-lit film set, the Lady unexpectedly finds herself on the dim stage of the Gerhart-Hauptmann-Theater. And she knows neither where she is nor how she got there. Suddenly, however, spotlights flare up, the band – Die Zeugen Amigas – starts to play, and we are right in the middle of a very special concert. The Lady is still a little coy, claiming she wants to go to the hotel, but the charming bandleader and the music librarian joining in on her singing do everything to ensure the diva does not leave the theater… And since she is already there, she might as well sing a little more for us.
Gaga in Görliwood is a cultural dialogue between Los Angeles and Lusatia. Look forward to an evening of unexpected encounters, cheerful misunderstandings, and grandiose songs from the "Queen of Entertainment".
