The Karel Hubáček House has undergone a transformation again, visitors will be welcomed by a renewed fence with a new entrance gate. Inside the building, the ceilings have been renovated and the windows repaired. A partial repair of the heating system is currently underway. Already last year we prepared a new exhibition for visitors, forming part of this experimental prefabricated house from the 1960s, which we are still adding to.
The exhibition covers the original form of the house, its construction and its gradual transformation to its present form. You can enjoy period photographs, original plans of the house and its variants, as well as a new "opening" model by the architects and modelers from Atelier next door. A surprise is also a fragment of a newly discovered decorative painting from the time when the house was opened to the public on the occasion of the Liberec Exhibition Market.
