We invite you to an exceptional intergenerational meeting in the gallery, where children, parents and grandparents will meet at the same table. Together we will observe plants, discover their shapes and colours and translate them into fine watercolour paintings under the guidance of children's book illustrator Aneta Františka Holasová.
We will start the programme with a short visit to the exhibition, which presents the work of the artistic duo Věra Nováková and Pavel Brázda. In their drawings, watercolours and paintings, motifs of flowers, gardens and open vegetation often appear - sometimes as a small detail, sometimes as a separate theme. The exhibition also includes books that both artists have contributed to - for example, the publication What Words Will Tell Everything, the botanical book Our Perennials with illustrations of plants, and the book My Dear Brothers by Helena Čapková.
