The Jazztrain 2025 will be different! The excursion train T9 from trilex to Mikulášovice departs from Zittau station at 8.26 am - accompanied by the René Habich Trio. In Panský, the route continues on foot to the Mandau spring, where a "Mandau baptism" is celebrated. The route then leads via Brtníky to Kopec to the "U Oty" inn, where the Outcrop Quintet welcomes travellers with jazz rock.
To round things off, there is a detour to the triangular Holy Trinity Chapel before the T9 arrives back in Zittau at 17:17. The hike is approx. 14 km long, the concert is free of charge, the Euro-Neisse (group) ticket is recommended for the train journey.
We hope that the railway will be able to run again from the end of September, as promised.

Important information:
We recommend using the Euro-Neisse (group) ticket and forming spontaneous car pools at the station.
It is possible to board the train at all stops on the T9 line.
The hike is around 14 kilometres long.
Please bring your own food and drink for the walk.
Lunch in the restaurant in Kopec can also be paid for in euros. As we only have about 75 minutes, we recommend that you order quickly so that you can enjoy your meal in comfort! The team is prepared for many hungry hikers - nevertheless, an emergency bar in your rucksack never hurts.
This is a group hike, but not a guided one. As we will probably be travelling in a larger group, we ask all participants to be attentive and helpful on the way. In this way, everyone contributes to ensuring that we reach our destination together, but at our own pace and safely.
The hike will be made available digitally at mapy.cz and www.komoot.de and as a GPS file for download so that the destination can also be found individually.
On the day of the trip, we will provide a printed route description if required.
There will be a donation hat for the two bands.
Please bring your identity card and health card.

Outcrop Quintet (CZ)
The Outcrop Quintet from Varnsdorf is an impressive example of how experienced musicians can create something fresh and energetic together. Their performances are characterised by passionate playing, fine melodies and rousing rhythmic outbursts. Their sound is characterised by modern jazz and fusion, but reveals a variety of other influences. The ensemble was founded by guitarist and composer Ivan Paisrt Jr. and saxophonist Petr Smetana.

Jazz band Reného Habicha (CZ)
Founded in 2017 as "Jazzband Erwina Schrödingera", the ensemble has toured throughout the Czech Republic with changing line-ups. Today, the band presents itself as a well-rehearsed, purely instrumental trio - consisting of three members of the Habich family. Their repertoire: jazz standards in their own arrangements. Two music teachers and a young, highly talented trumpeter bring musical passion to the stage. All three are also part of the ZUŠ Rumburk jazz ensemble.
