Kateřina Marie Tichá, a native of Vlašim, was nominated for the Czech Nightingale Award in the Discovery of the Year category in 2013, the same year she also started her ongoing collaboration with the then emerging band Jelen. In 2015 she released her five-song EP Otazníky and in 2020 her debut album Sami, which was one of the most pleasant surprises of the Czech music scene. The singer followed up her Angel-awarded debut with her anticipated second full-length album, Plamen - the first recorded in collaboration with the band Bandjeez, which she took over from David Stypek. The new album was again produced by the multi-talented Ondřej Turták and by all indications it is one of the musical events of this year. The year 2024 was a turning point for the charismatic singer. Her album Flame, released at the beginning of February, was one of the musical events of the year. The album became one of the best-selling albums in the Czech Republic, the single reached the 3rd position among the most played songs (including foreign competition) on Czech radio. The tour of the same name with 13 stops was sold out, including two concerts in Prague's Lucerna Music Bar and Brno's Sono Music Club. Due to the unprecedented success of the tour, 18 more concerts were added across the Czech Republic.
