In August 2025, 25 young musicians from Germany, France, and Poland met at the Polish-German border to play together and develop a program that clearly references the work and person of Olivier Messiaen.
They were supported by the Parisian ensemble Écoute, flautist Helen Bledsoe, composers Martin Matalon and Tristan Murail, and composer Grażyna Pstrokońska-Nawratil, the latter two being Messiaen's students.
The concert on May 1st will present the musical results of this meeting: works by Tristan Murail, George Benjamin, and young, emerging composers from Poland, France, and Germany—a dialogue between new voices and the musical heritage.
