On Good Friday, the traditional Stations of the Cross take place in Görlitz. The procession begins at 1:30 PM in the crypt of St. Peter's Church and leads along the Görlitzer Via Dolorosa with its seven stations to the Holy Grave, the best-preserved, true-to-original replica of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. Following the Stations of the Cross, a devotion at the hour of Jesus' death will be held here at 3:00 PM.
