Between forests, water, and tents, the Lonesome Lake Festival celebrates its next edition from July 3 to 5, 2026 on the shore of a lake in Upper Lusatia – a weekend full of music, connection, and optimism for the future.
What began in 2020 as a small idea has long since become a place dear to the hearts of friends of handmade music, solidarity, and sustainability. LoLa – as it is affectionately called – unites indie, folk, alternative, and electronic sounds on a stage that is powered entirely by solar energy.
In addition to concerts by international and regional acts, the festival invites you to workshops, hands-on activities, and a children's program. The focus is on community over commerce, and sustainability over overproduction. Families, students, and culture enthusiasts will find an open, loving space here that grows a little bit more every year.
New in 2026:
All visitors up to and including 21 years of age receive free admission.
A new concept of socially tiered ticket prices makes participation possible for everyone.
Arrival by train is strongly recommended – a free shuttle bus takes guests directly from Zittau station to the festival grounds.
The 2026 program will be announced in the spring. Those who want to get an impression now can find retrospectives from previous years on YouTube.com/@morninggloryconcerts – from quiet moments by the lake to nights dancing under the stars.
