A fairy tale full of imagination takes us to the painting studio of Hugo Pastelka, who has just painted a new picture. A picture that is different from all the previous ones. It is different, special, distinct.
And that, just as with people, is a problem. Everyone laughs at it and refuses to accept it. And so our picture decides to head out into the world. But it doesn't have much luck there either and gets into trouble. The only one who can rescue it is the one who gave it life. The one who loves it just as it is. The one who believes in it…
And because we are in a painter's fairy tale, all sorts of strange characters appear here, such as living paintings, the brownie Brushy, or the wicked Old Paint Can; the fighting is done exclusively with sharpened brushes, and there are lots of colors everywhere. The fairy tale also features music and original songs…
An original performance by Divadlo Matýsek.
