Dear audience,
the Mandaujazz music festival 2023 is here! The Mandau stands symbolically for the ancient co-existence of Czechs, Germans, and Sorbs in Lusatia - it is the lifeblood of the region, which is full of music and unites music from all over the world. For this year's MANDAU JAZZ, musicians from Saxony, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Romania, South Africa, the USA, Great Britain, Russia, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Iran, and Canada will meet. Across 27 concerts from the end of September to the end of November, they will present the richness of various genres along the Mandau at changing venues – you can hear jazz, blues, rock, funk, reggae, bluegrass, folk, Dixieland, world music, and music theater. And what about the big stars?! We are looking forward to experiencing musical celebrities like Aly Keïta, Fanfare Ciocarlia, Hardwicke Circus, Martin Kratochvíl with Tony Ackerman, Maik Krahl, Ondřej Ruml, Pascal von Wroblewsky, Gerald Clark, David Dorůžka and Wolf Mail, or Jan Spálený with you.
