Embark on an unforgettable journey through North Africa with Pavel Chlum and two other members of the group Tripel, who explored the fascinating landscape and culture of this breathtaking country on their 2300 km-long adventure.
The expedition begins in vibrant Marrakech, from where they cross the majestic Atlas Mountains and continue to the desert city of Ouarzazate, known for its film studios. Near Merzouga, they camped right among the dunes and returned to their car via a one-hour camel trek. The adventurers then head over the Tizi n’Ouaddi mountain pass to an agricultural region near the city of Azrou, where they visit the rock dwellings of the local inhabitants. In the winding alleys of the ancient city of Fez, they immerse themselves in the authentic atmosphere of Moroccan markets, plug their noses with sprigs of mint, and visit the famous tanneries. After touring the capital city of Rabat, they continue along the coast south to Imsouane, where they try their hand at surfing. The entire journey will be accompanied by tastings of local specialties. What do traditional mint tea, goat meat, camel, or the rather unusual-for-us pastries with pigeon meat actually taste like?
