Come to Rybfest below Lemberk Castle! Compete in the fish cooking show or taste great carp specialties and decide the winner. A varied accompanying program for children and adults awaits you.
We invite you to the 2nd annual fish culinary contest, which will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in the parking lot below Lemberk Castle. Competing teams will battle it out preparing original carp specialties in cauldrons over an open fire right on-site.
You will be part of the jury!
Visitors can taste individual dishes and decide the winner.
There will also be an accompanying program for children.
Admission: free, possibility to purchase voting tickets "kaprovky" for 200 CZK (possibility to taste all 10 dishes and subsequently vote for the winner)
Schedule of the day:
9:00 - 10:00 – site and fire pit preparation
10:00 - 13:00 – contestants cooking
12:00 - 15:00 – public tastings and voting
15:30 - 16:00 – winner announcement
Refreshments:
You definitely won't be leaving hungry. In addition to carp dishes conjured up by the competing teams, you can also taste our grilled or smoked fish, popular carp fries, or a fish burger. For non-fish lovers, we have homemade pizza, among other things.
