SHTGN brings its festival era at the Kristýna site to a close, bidding farewell to this place after many years of coexistence. The final edition of the SHTGN Festival in the traditional setting of the campsite by the lake in Hrádek nad Nisou will take place from September 11 to 13, 2026. The SHTGN collective will continue to operate on a regularly irregular basis, focusing on a combination of new event formats and extraordinary locations.
Over its 25 years of existence, the SHTGN Festival has come a long way. It shortened its name, moved to a castle and back, and experienced the most diverse weather conditions – tropical days and nights, summer storms, but also snowflakes and a flood that ultimately forced its cancellation. During this time, it has changed significantly in some respects, although at its core, it has remained the same. Because no matter what the festival backdrop or the colors of the sky were, there were never any compromises in the musical dramaturgy. This is also why, or perhaps precisely because of this, a community of people has emerged who have always enjoyed returning to SHTGN and have given a piece of their lives and hearts to it.
