The Zittau Bible - the Lenten Veil,
over half a millennium old, has survived many events and trials. It has been preserved and restored with its 90 images illustrating biblical events. And now, all of these stories have been set to music and can be heard in a concert.
The composer Serhii Radzetskyi dared to perform a bold experiment and created a one-minute composition for each of the ninety Bible stories depicted on the Lenten Veil.
Every image tells its story and, like the scenes of a great film, receives its own soundtrack here.
At the concert, the audience will hear every single story over the course of ninety minutes and experience how the entire Bible is brought to sound!
