STREIFEN! performance art festival 2025
In our festival, we would like to approach the phenomenon of acceleration in the most diverse areas of our society.
In this context, we want to explore questions such as: What is your own pace? How slow can I be? Can standing still also be progress? Is humanity too slow for the speed of our time?
We invite the participating artists to use performative and interactive means to make their perspective on the topic tangible and to create a space for research in which a wide variety of answers and approaches can become visible.
Programme:
The entire programme takes place in and at the new Kunsthalle Görlitz as well as at various locations on Wilhelmsplatz. The meeting point at the specified times is always at the Kunsthalle Görlitz, Wilhelmsplatz 15
All performances are free of charge. Donations are requested.
Friday, 19.9.
5 pm Opening of the festival and performances
