Embark on a fascinating journey of exploring the universe – from the ancient ideas of our ancestors to the latest astronomical discoveries. A special program featuring projections on the planetarium dome and the film A Space Odyssey will show you how humanity has been uncovering the secrets of the cosmos for centuries.
The special program will be dedicated to demonstrating current findings provided by global terrestrial and space observatories, complemented by projections of selected images directly onto the planetarium sphere and the film A Space Odyssey – how did our ancestors understand and observe the universe, and how do we observe it today?
What do the giant telescopes of today look like and how do they work, and what fascinating cosmic objects can they show us?
The film will also guide us through space research using the first telescopes and show what observatories on Earth, in space, and even underground we use to research the cosmos.
