We invite you to a guided walk around Grabštejn Castle to discover its historic park. Guided by castellan Mgr. Věra Ozogánová. Duration approx. 60 minutes, depending on the weather. Free admission.
Grabštejn Castle is surrounded by a historic forest park, which turns into a garden in its upper reaches. The beginnings of the park landscaping date back to the early 18th century. The surroundings of the castle underwent another significant modification during the 19th century. Currently, part of the area is inaccessible to the public as it is under the administration of the Army of the Czech Republic. Another, equally interesting part is part of the public space around Grabštejn Castle. Although the forest park is still waiting for comprehensive and professional restoration, we would like to present this historically valuable area to the public, with everything that has been preserved in it and what remains hidden to passersby.
