Zámek Lemberk
Chateau Lemberk rises over the village of Lvová, near Jablonné v Podještědí, in the picturesque countryside of the Lusatian Mountains. It stands on the site of Löwenberg, a 13th-century medieval fortress which originally guarded the trade route between Bohemia and Zittau. The chateau is closely linked to Saint Zdislava of Lemberk, who was renowned for her charity and care for the poor and sick.
The grounds are home to a beautiful chateau park, while the surrounding hiking trails include a path to the well-known Saint Zdislava’s Spring. Chateau Lemberk is also a popular location with filmmakers and has appeared in plenty of fairy tales, movies, and TV series.
