From Wednesday through Friday, the Kronenkino in Zittau invites you to the festival lounge—complete with a fire pit, drink specials, and music. A special jam session is planned for Wednesday. Behind StereoBlues is Marcus Tiede from Berlin, who uses low-tuned guitars, bottleneck slide, loops and finely crafted drum elements to create dense soundscapes that blend blues, dub, soul, Americana and modern club aesthetics. Much of it is improvised and unfolds in the moment. RADZ, the Ukrainian bassist Serhii Radzetskyi, expands this soundscape with virtuoso bass lines and a repertoire ranging from Baroque forms to jazz, funk, rock and world music. Together, this performance promises an open, groovy, and atmospherically rich evening full of joy in playing.
