Times are sensitive. Family man Heinz Hellmich has to painfully realise this when he is threatened with losing his job after a few clumsy missteps at work. To prove that he is not an "old white man", he invites his boss and other guests (or is it guests?!) to his home for a dinner. Together with his family, he wants to present himself from his best, most modern and "wokest" side! But as soon as the evening begins, Heinz starts to fall into one trap after another and realises that his wife Carla, his children and Grandpa Georg don't exactly radiate pure harmony. When, after much turbulence, everyone finally sits down at the same table, the politically correct façade quickly begins to crumble... A film that looks at the big and sensitive social issues of our time with a great deal of humour and self-irony and, in view of hundreds of thousands of enthusiastic viewers, obviously hits a nerve.
