From July 31st to August 2nd, the traditional summer festival will once again take place in Rothenburg. Originally, the August shooting competition on the first weekend of August celebrated the Saxon King Augustus the Strong. Today, guests from near and far come to immerse themselves in the hustle and bustle of the fairgrounds at the three festival grounds, enjoy good live music, and indulge in culinary delights.
