Sonja (Karoline Herfurth) and her husband Milan have separated. Actually a sensible decision. But it's not so easy when you find out that your ex is dating a new woman. Meanwhile, Julie (Emilia Schüle), Milan's sister, finds herself at the mercy of a boss who is incredibly charming - but at the same time acts inappropriately abusive and is in no way willing to respect boundaries. Sonja's best friend Vicky (Nora Tschirner) has completely different problems. After an argument, her boyfriend has gone on holiday with an indefinite return, without really defining what this will do to their relationship. And during the school project week, she also has to convince a group of unwilling schoolgirls to ask themselves important questions: How is being a woman actually defined? And what expectations and role models must a woman fulfil in order to be respected, wanted and desired in society? A truly wonderful film with humour and depth about relationships, solidarity and self-determination - this film is encouraging and uplifting!
